Happy Birfday Auntie E!

Today our lovely auntie is having a birthday today- so naturally we have to share why she’s so awesome, and why we hope she’s having a happy day!

She introduced J to some crack.  Can we have crack this weekend?  Mmmm peanut buttery chocolate…

Editor problems.

She’s one amazing editor.  And definitely knows the difference between they’re, their and there.  Right?

She does NOT believe the above.  But she is a pretty awesome person to talk to.

pride and prejudice

Slings and Arrows

She is on the cutting edge of rarely seen, but amazing media.  And has created some crazy obsessed people in our family.

She refuses to sink.  Pretty awesome.

love tina fey.

She doesn’t drink (at least red wine) and she will always split an app with you, if you want to order something deep fried.

She sometimes has a really weird sense of humour.  I love it.

How many Social Workers does it take to change a lightbulb? One. But the lightbulb has to WANT to change.

She is going to be one kick ass social worker one day, as long as she can survive her classmates, who I’m pretty sure don’t know how irritating they are to her.

...and don't come back

She’s brave.

For Richer or For Poorer

She gets the ridiculousness of these two.

as a mother...

She calls people out on this stuff. (which I love)

But most of all we just love the crap outta her.
Happy birthday!

About weywardsisters

The Three Weyward Sisters first appeared in Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”. It turns out we have more in common with these “weird” sisters than we thought. In the Shakespeare play the sisters represent darkness, chaos and conflict. We’ll leave it up to you to decide which of us represents each. They also usually show up to mark impending doom. Well, we certainly hope that our presence on this little corner of the Interwebs doesn’t mean impending doom for anyone. However, we find our commonalities with the witches in other ways. To be weyward means to be willful, disobedient and to turn away from what is “right or proper”. Those who know us would whole heartedly agree – we are three weyward sisters. We are three headstrong, stubborn (some more than others), obstinate and willful sisters. Read at your own risk.

  1. I love her too. She’s not my aunt but she’s my best friend. I agree with all of the above and would like to share some little known facts about her you may or may not be familiar with:

    1. She is a horrible present wrapper. It looks like a child tried to teach an octopus to fold paper. The packages are lumpy, snarled wads of paper but inside are the most thoughtful, clever, unique gifts you will ever receive.

    2. She likes to learn and use new words on a daily basis and research where those words come from. She has made me a whole lot smarterer over the years…sorry, I mean she GOTS me a whole lot smarterer over the years.

    3. You will never meet someone who loves a chilli dog more than her.

    4. She can immediately identify if a home is zombie proof or not.

    5. You will NEVER beat her at trivia. She knows shit. Weird shit. And a lot of it. I don’t know how it all fits in her head. I am continually amazed at how smart she is.

    6. She tough. Really tough…and she doesn’t even know it. Her shoulders are broad, her heart pumps iron, and her chin doesn’t know any other direction than up.

    7. New Underwear Day is one of her favourite days.

    8. I would be lost without her. As simple as that: Lost. Wandering around the city with no pants on probably…maybe I’d be throwing cats at people.

    9. She is AMAZING at what she does. Writing, editing, conceptualizing…AMAZING.

    10. Her lemon loaf is literally a slice of heaven.
